Hey everyone! Smile back again with another music review. Tonight’s adventure takes me to The Enchanted Forest and Music Hall. It is conveniently located at 45 W. 1st Street, New Albany, IN. It has Bar with food options and a indoor stage and outdoor stage with indoor and outdoor seating. Tonight they are hosting The 2nd Round of The Battle of the Bands. The two band competing are The Dirty Hand and Miss Joshua.

This the menu available in the Enchanted Forest along with a full bar. I had a tenderloin and it was solid choice.

Before the battle began they had a open jam session. Anyone who wants to that can play any instrument is welcome to come up and play with open arms.

The first band to take the stage tonight is The Dirty Hand. The Dirty hand is a band hailing from southern Indiana. The band consists of these members Bri (Vocals), Shawn (Guitar), John (Bass), Steven (Drums), Jeremy (Guitar), Eric (Guitar/Harp/Vocals). The reason they are called The Dirty hand is because some of them work for a septic company. I have seen The Dirty Hand perform before and they really are good they play a lot of 90’s Pop and Rock. I say they play the top of the tops! They have great crowd engagement and are a really fun time.

Here is Braden helping me catch good live shots. He is the magic behind a lot of photos I use. 🙂

The Dirty Hand’s set list.

The next band to take the stage is Miss Joshua. Originally the band Miss Joshua was called Dacoda in 1994. In 1996 the band changed the name to Miss Joshua and opened for such acts as Dokken & Vixen, but disbanded in 2001. The is current line up for Miss Joshua – Lynny Slaughter- vocals/bass/stage antics, Eddie Van Evans- bass/vocals, Jeremy Vai Halen – guitar/vocals, Greg Clockwork Lyall- drums, Brent Utility Man Greco- guitars/vocals. All of the band member have many years of experience between them. they sounded really good and the guitarist in the green shirt was absolutely amazing. I linked up their Spotify down below if you want to check out Miss Joshua.

Miss Joshua’s set list.

After both bands played they decided the winner by who could cheer louder for the band they liked the best. They even used a decibel meter to see what band got the loudest support. When the dust settled The Dirty Hand stood victorious and now proceeds to the final round which will be held in May on the outdoor stage (weather permitting).
In Conclusion The Enchanted Forest & Music Hall is a great place to check out live music. Don’t worry we will have the final round covered for you here at Graveyardradio.net. Hopefully The Dirty Hand brings home the win! In the meantime make sure to check out graveyardradio.net for more great reviews! Until next time, Keep Smiling!
