Hey everyone! Smile back again with another concert review. This time we are at The Deluxe. The Deluxe is a small 7,421 square foot space that can accommodate 200 to 400 guests. It is located in the basement of the Old National Theater at 502 N New Jersey St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Tonight Braden and myself are here to see The Happy Fits Lovesick Tour 2026. The tour features The Happy Fits and BEL.

Taking the stage first tonight is BEL. She is a LA-based indie-pop (Isabel Whelan), originally hailing from the small town of Clovis, CA, blends a folk songwriter’s heart with the alluring polish of a classic pop artist. Raised in a bilingual household as the youngest of five, she first found her creative footing in theater, choir, violin, and harmonizing in the car with her Argentine mother to ’70s icons like Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, and Stevie Nicks. Her journey from DIY beginnings to full-time musician wasn’t seamless quitting a 9-to-5 came with plenty of doubt——but BEL’s leap of faith now defines her journey.
Well before she ever earned accolades from Sirius XM, Rolling Stone, NPR, numerous Spotify playlists (for her Muscle Memory, Jet Lag, and Read the Room EPs), BEL’s validation came from the fans she’d meet while performing live as a UCLA undergrad — and later, opening for indie acts such as Cold War Kids, Boyish, Gatlin, Girlhouse, BAILEN, and The Rare Occasions.
Now with her debut full-length, Holy Grail (via Nettwerk), reflects this ascent, centered on “letting go of expectations and trusting the process of chasing your dreams.” The album, featuring collaborators like labelmate Miya Folick, Sarah Tudzin of Illuminati Hotties, John Mark Nelson (Suki Waterhouse, Shaboozey), and executive producer Jason Vance Harris (Role Model, Juliet Ivy), explores navigating doubt and finding optimism, as heard on tracks like “Fresh Start“ and “Parachute.“Â
Inspired by life on the road and life’s lessons, her songs, like the bilingual “Amor,” are drawn from personal experiences. Despite challenges, BEL’s inherent hope, informed in part by her brother’s rare genetic condition, carves a resilient spirit into her art and outlook. Holy Grail is a testament to perseverance and finding fulfillment in what you have while chasing your aspirations
Her set sounded like shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch or a coffee house vibe. Want to hear more? check out the link below.

The Happy Fits were next they are an indie rock band from Pittstown, New Jersey. The quartet was formed in 2016 by lead vocalist and cellist Calvin Langman and guitarist Ross Monteith, with the addition of Luke Davis as drummer following the release of their debut EP Awfully Apeelin’. After finding unexpected success on Spotify, the band members dropped out of college to record their first full-length album, Concentrate. They have since completed multiple headlining tours and released a sophomore album, What Could Be Better, in 2020, and a third album, Under the Shade of Green, in 2022. Their fourth album, Lovesick, was released in 2025.
The Happy Fits played a 16 song set with a 3 song encore. My favorite song was Too Late and Dirty Imbecile. One of the songs they did a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way”. I thought that their songs could be in TV or movie soundtracks because they had that kind of vibe about them. You can check out their music linked up below.
All in all the show had a great turn out. The Deluxe was over half full and the crowd was loving the show. Everything was EQ’d correct and sounded great. Braden and I enjoyed the show and the tickets were FREE so win-win! Also make sure to check back in here at Graveyardradio.net for more of our great event reviews. Until next time folks, Keep Smiling!
