KID TWITCH BRINGS A HEATER OF A HOUSE MIX TO GRAVEYARD RADIO!

When I saw Patrick(Kid Twitch) roll up to the Aliens On Mushrooms/World Famous Hot Boys Block Party on a beautiful yellow 2 seat cruiser with his wife, I knew this dude had a vibe. Then I remembered he played vinyl at House of Wax put on by Trinidad Traxx.

However, I had missed that set. After some small talk, defintly wanted to put this dude on at Graveyard. Well here we are and I am definitely hyped for this to be added to our library.

My intuition was right in the money. Patrick is an old school head with some really good taste. He began his career mobile DJing in 1990, playing hip-hop at a string of house parties, along with a couple school dances. In 1995 he ran into another old head, Hugh Jeffner(who has been enjoying a lustrous career locally over the years), pointed young Patrick in the right direction with House & Techno, teaching him the art of beatmatching, breaks, & movements.

“Good records have no expiration on them.”

Patrick has dropped a mix for Graveyard full of classic bangers and and some brand new fresh shit as well. This one will make you want to rave out and have you fiending for a vibe that would only be found back at that warehouse in 1999. Twitch fluidly pushes out bangers spanning decades from a 2001 classic, “Touch Me” by Rui Da Silva to the latest release from Gettoblaster upcoming new album, “Acid Ice Cream”. It get deeper than that however, when I heard remix track I could not ID of 1979’s “Here Come The Flood” by Robert Flip. We also get treated to cuts from Bryan Cox, Kevin McKay & Lee Cabrera, La Tromba, Robbie Tronco , Spencer Brown, and a few other great surprises you’ll have to hear for yourself.

Twitch did an excellent job keeping classic tracks fresh as fuck along side a some huge 2024 releases that will brighten your commutes for all our readers this week. Thanks for checking it out.
