Fall is upon us and things seem to really be heating up on Graveyard Radio! We are bringing a new exclusive this week after the huge drop we had in September. We got 10 new mixtapes presented to us for the Aliens On Chikin Collab, not to mention sets from Govan Jones and Mr. Wiggits. This round is brought to you by Vermillion, who has been putting in work for about 7 years. The work seems to be paying off because he has a supporting slot for the upcoming Markus Schulz in Novemver at Invy Nightclub. In the wake of that, Vermillion has put together a very nice set for us.
This is one progressively hypnotic and overly kind-of dark set. Vermillion defintly knows what he is doing behind the mixer, blending melodic and sometimes soulful into the dreary soundscapes. He still manages to get a little techy to help elevate the mood, and it works. Lots of angelic vocalizations also seal the deal. The kids are calling this stuff “melodic techno” these days. As an old head who raved in Indianapolis’ golden age under the heavy influence of Detroit, I can see why this term upsets some. Genre labeling aside, Vermillion does his job in the set and takes us on a journey with gauntlet of well mixed tracks that all feel pretty good to the soul, if you are into that sort of thing. Tunes by AVIRA, Script, Kaskade, Karetus, and Advokate where just a few highlights that fit into this set very well.

That brings us to November! Uriah G Presents is bringing world-renowned DJ/Producer, Markus Schulz back to Indianapolis! Of coarse we got Vermillion and Trung Ngo throwing down for support. Uriah definitely picked the right people for the job on this one. General admission tickets and table service can be purchased on here. Hope to see you there.
