‘MY PAPER THIN’ BY KXNG CROOKED – HIP-HOP PICK OF THE WEEK

This week’s Hip-Hop Pick of the Week is a surprise release titled “My Paper Thin” by KXNG Crooked. Definetly can relate to that. The Long Beach rapper dropped the track last at midnight. Crooked spits his rhymes over an instrumental of MC Lyte’s track “Paper Thin” from her debut album “Lyte as a Rock” that was released in 1988.

It’s also worth mentioning, another track dropped the day before featuring KXNG Crooked. A DJ/Producer named Kut-One, who I could not find much info on, but it appears the track is a single from Kut’s new album titled, “Live Wires 2.” The album, at just a quick glance, appears to have been entirely produced by Kut-One featuring a multiple MCs. It’s a dope track, check it out below.
