DJ JAMES B ROCKS THE VOGUE WITH LEGENDARY SET!

Lemme just start by saying something I’ve said before to all of you, and will definitely say again –

James is the sh*t! If you missed this show, you need to keep your eyes peeled for his next night out and effing GO!

James spun a great set opening up for The Crystal Method back in August, a floor-pleasing amalgam of progressive and breaks. Always comfortable behind the decks, James looked great on stage – he bops along, always smiling and inviting people to groove along with him.

He loves the stage at The Vogue, and he shows it!  Having practiced his craft for almost 25 years, he got the dance floor filled up quickly, with both young and old dancers blissing out together, which is always a joy to see. Plates thrown down by this talented guy included some fresh breaks (“Drums of The Hell” by Colombo; “Attraction” by Under This), some twists on classic tracks (“At Night {Anyma x Layton Giordani remix}” by Shakedown, Anyma & Layton Giordani; “And I Miss You” by Analog Hustlers, Brothers of Funk, Ms.Becca).  I was super surprised when James threw down the Oakenfold Nu Rave Remix of “Everybody’s Free” and that’s one thing I love about James’ sets – there’s always something for everyone, it doesn’t matter if you’re an over-40 raver feeling some nostalgia or a new-to-the-scene kiddo who isn’t sure what they like. No matter who you are,  you’re gonna fall under James’ spell as he mixes songs you love with those you may never again hear. James loves taking crowds on rollercoasters, so be ready for anything when you catch him!

At the end of the night, James is a great DJ and has always been a solid pillar of our Indy scene.  You owe it to yourself to make it out the next time James is spinning.  Sadly, I can’t recommend any upcoming events right now, but I can and will suggest that you check out his Facebook and Soundcloud pages for more info and mixes, like his latest set that just got released a couple weeks back! If you’d like to book one of Indy’s best, email him at jamesbdj41@gmail.com!
