45Thieves has been one of my favorite Jungle artists since a 2006 party in Columbus, OH. It was an amazing party and also a huge mess when the fire marshal shut it down. All of that can be a story for another day. However, one good thing that came out of it was one of the most epic mixtapes of Jungle I had ever heard. The duo(Jason The Stranger of ISS, & Victor Paul) had recorded the tape playing at a hotel after-party, and was online, (via zip file link on a message board), by the time I had made it back home to Indianapolis.
Almost 20 years later, I’m still bumping this shit. One of the coolest things from back then DJed off wax I still have in rotation on a regular.
It hit my radar recent that the label Victor Paul had established in 1999 was going to celebrate 25 years of existence. It was also dope as fuck that when I saw the flyer, David Saturn, (who had briefly knocked Lee Reynolds and Airglo off the #1 spot on Graveyard Radio’s Top mixes over on SoundCloud), was going to be in direct support. It only made sense to show some love over here at Graveyard Radio. Before we look at all the details on the party though, we’re going to check out some of 45Thieves latest releases.
The latest drop from 45Thieves is on Approach Records. The track titled, “Radio Piracy” is a collab with Insidious Sky(UK). It’s a heavy hitter, with clean snares, and some really cool sampling. It’s available on all major platforms. Peep this link for your poison.
In “Pon Di Block” 45Thieves put it down with 1CongoLawd and created both a DNB and Jungle versions of the tracks. Production sounds amazing on both tracks, and bumps my speakers nicely, both in their respected personality. The DNB remix is definitely providing some absolutely sick bass drops in ny trunk speakers. The track is out on all major platforms on Rocket175 Records. We encourage you DJs to get that on Beatport or Juno.
The “Get Into It” EP features 2 tracks of straight aggression, some ridiculous breakdowns, and some gnarly, dark basslines that will contort your face. Defintly add this to your collection!

Last, but not least, “Bruce Banner” is hitting all platforms tomorrow! From the short preview I heard, this tune is definitely a monster. Heavy futuristic bass, crisp drums, it’s a 100% certified smoker! You can pre-save the track on your preferred streaming service here.

“Those Damn Kids” are putting it down on 2 different nights this weekend, with the pre-party being Friday in Cincinnati and the official “25 Years of Conquest Recording” being in Convington, KY on Saturday.

All the info you could need on both these shows, ticket links, artists, and more can be found at one convenient link right here. Giving big props to the promoters for this, not only will this hook you up with all the info, but connect you with the socials & music of most the DJs on the bill, that’s big effort in putting the talent on, giving people easy access to connect with artists. I dig it! Click those links, get those tickets, have a great weekend!
