Whether you were right in front of the stage, dancing in the lounge area, or chilling in one of the VIP booths, the vibe at Invy undoubtedly brought the music to life in a way that few venues can. If your a regular graveyardradio.net reader, you already know all this, but it never hurts to recap.
First off, props to the amazing decorations the Aliens on Mushrooms boys presented for the evening. The 10 foot tall Jack Skelington was a personal favorite. Along with striking visuals, this was a perfect vibe for a post Halloween weekend show.

DJ Whit opened the night playing a fantastic selection of grooves to get us started. Very exciting DJ whos name we’ve been seeing pop up on flyers more & more frequently this year, Whit definitely set the tone for the evening. The energy was already high in the crowd starting to form, she was in her element in the booth, and permeated a high level of confidence, skill, & class in everything she did with her set. This was just the beggining.

MALAA’s performance at INVY was a mix of Deep House, Tech House, and signature humor filled tracks that kept the crowd moving. Fans were treated to his popular hits, along with unexpected remixes in addition to new deep cuts that showcased his talent and mastery. The way he maintains a mysterious, balaclava masked identity adds to the excitement, making the night feel exclusive and personal. It was the up close and personal feel that INVY dishes out, no other event location in the surrounding area can match when combined with such a top billed artist.

As mentioned earlier, this full capacity crowd got treated to a surprise guest appearance from Aliens On Mushroom founder, Gettoblaster! The room erupted as Paul took to the decks to throw down with Malaa. The 2 talents worked with skillful precision dropping beats for an incredible hyped crowd that was under these 2 world class top-tier DJs complete control.

The crowd’s energy is another highlight when attending events like this. Given MALAA’s reputation and affiliation with Pardon My French (a collective that includes DJ Snake & Tchami), the audience was a mix of seasoned electronic music enthusiasts and newcomers alike, all vibing to the beats while dancing without a care. The anticipation of the bass drop after carefully crafted build ups, partnered alongside the room being lit up with laser filled, dazzling visuals was an experience in itself. It is no wonder there was a birthday celebration on tap that night in one of the VIP booths!

After Malaa’s set it was time for Uriah G to take the wheels of steel. The surprises were not over yet. Uriah knows this crowd well and has brought this packed house down many-many times. With Whit giving such a vibrant performance to open the night, Uriah invited her up to go b2b with him, with much enthusiasm from the crowd. A stellar move in G’s part. Between Uriah’s signature style of slapping house bangers & Whit’s mixing prowess, they performed an unforgettable set to close out another absolute legendary night at Invy.

If you’re someone who appreciates the gritty underground beginnings of the scene on top of the ever present pulsating electronic sounds with a dose of theatrics, Aliens on Mushroom bringing MALAA to INVY was an unforgettable night. Having attempted to see his performances numerous times, yet never quite connecting, this was one well worth the wait! The club ambiance, direct support cast, paired with MALAA’s stellar skills, made for a perfect & exciting night out where the music took center stage no matter where you were in the house. “Who is MALAA,” one may ask?!? MALAA is no stranger to the dance floor and someone you should definitely get out to see.
Not to over hype, but this night was a prime example of the uniqueness the Aliens on Mushrooms brand brings to Indianapolis at all their events. They don’t just want to throw a party, but create unforgettable experiences that people won’t forget. Graveyard Radio and it’s affiliates can not wait to see what the future will bring for the label. We know it going to be good.
