We checked in on one of our East Coast homies on a free day and saw Aldo Sanchez had a new track on streaming. We decided to check it out, along with this flyer for a block party that is popping off in Brooklyn.
Aldo has created one chill track. He has pieced together a smooth beat, with a tropical deep-house vibe. The feel-good tune titled “Soleil” is named after his daughter, and also features her voice being sampled. The track also features an edit that steps up the tempo quite a bit. It also features some quirky vocal sampling, and a nice little classic breakdown. Over all, both tracks have a sunny feel, that should lift you spirits a little. We are asking DJ to support and purchase the tracks from his Bandcamp.
SHAKE THE BLOCK TRES! Nice collaboration between Against The Grain and The Network Confidential with an unannounced location. All we know is it’s somewhere in Brooklyn and they have a bunch of flyers around with a QR code in it.
We checked the code and it went to The Network Confidential’s Telagram Channel. So I’m going to guess that’s where one would find the info needed. I love it. Be safe out there this weekend!
