The fine folks over at Trinidad Traxx LLC are once again preparing to shake the underground this Saturday with Royal Rebellion in honor of founder Darla Kogan and DJ Lady L’s (Lea Kogan) birthday.
This intergalactic birthday bash boasts both local and out-of-town talent as well as a variety of genres. Trinidad Traxx events always sport some serious old school vibes and this event is no exception.
DJ Lady L (Trinidad Traxx LLC) will kick this party off at 9 PM with an all vinyl set. Rumor has it that she has been doing some serious crate digging in preparation for her birthday set and is itching to make proper use of her newly restored Technic SL1200 M3Ds and Pioneer DJM600 to bring you that old school analog sound.
Coming all the way from San Diego, Tally G has residencies with several music collectives and record labels, including Boomslang Recordings (USDNB), Siren Project (NYC), Luna Wave Collective (CA), Proper Chicago, The Distinguished (CO), Syncopationdnb (AZ), and THC Kru (USDNB).
Additionally, Tally G serves on the board of directors for Siren Project. Known for her smooth transitions and seamless blending of DnB sub genres, you won’t want to miss her Indianapolis debut.
DJSauceWaltzn, formerly known as DjDementia, is coming to us from Cincinnati, OH. He’s bringing along his serious love of Electro and Breaks. Although life took him away from his DJing career for a while, DJSauceWaltzn never lost his passion for music.
In 2020, he slowly made a return to the decks; and with his return to the dance music scene, DJSauceWaltzn is ready to make his mark once again, spreading his love for underground sounds to all who are willing to listen.

The birthday bash for Trinidad Traxx founder Darla Kogan and Executive Administrator Lea Kogan starts at 9 pm and will run until 3am, and is being held at the Speedway VFW 2839. The venue is 21+, there is a cash atm available, a quarter pool table, food menu, friendly wait staff, chances to win cash and door prizes. The entry is $11 with $1 of that going to the VFW, an organization that supports veterans of foreign wars. Both Darla and Lea Kogan are proud members of the VFW. Despite being the smallest VFW in the nation, Speedway VFW 2839 holds the title of the second oldest in the state. The VFW bartender and manager are friendly with the members of Trinidad Traxx, creating a welcoming atmosphere similar to the television show “Cheers,” where “everybody knows your name!” They offer affordable drinks, with no drink priced above $6. Attendees can also enjoy delicious food options, secure parking, and a quarter pool table. Furthermore, the venue is available to rent for other events, and those interested can ask for Dodi or Dawana at the door for more information.
