From groundbreaking releases on Dirtybird Records to collaborations with top labels like InStereo Recordings and King Street Sounds, Freqish is working to cement his position as a trailblazer in the electronic dance music community. With authentic resonance at its core, he works with live instrumentalists in his electronic dance tracks. This is just a scratch on the surface of his full biography. I became familiar with Freqish a.k.a. Brandon Lee after being introduced through our affiliate, Trinidad Traxx. After a few minutes of conversation, it was apparent that Lee had a thirst for adventure and was a salt-of-the-earth type of person. We had to check him out.
I can’t get enough of his 2001 release on Nervous Records. Not only does this track feature some vocals that can raise anyone’s spirits, it features Jason Whiteman, bringing some serious fire on the saxophone!
In 2022, Freqish connected with singer/songwriter, ReaMore, to create one soulful tune that was released on King Street Sounds. Another great standout track in his catalog.
On Freqish’s latest release, he gets way more techy. “Kick In The Door” is a hype party track, that brings a super funky vibe. The vocalist hook is catchy and infectious, and is definitely set up to get the dance floor hopping.
