Last Friday we got a new drop from an Indianapolis favorite, Noncompliant. The track is available on all platforms. Needless to say the track is everything I love about techno. I get so excited for these things. I love a hometown favorite and Noncompliant was there playing records when I went to my first parties more than 23 years ago. Since then, she has been able to take her talents all over the world representing Indy & techno, it’s a beautiful thing.
The tune was a remix of Moodtrax’s original “Network” off of “OUTER001” Compilation. Noncompliant’s remix is part of “OUTER003”.
The track is over 6 minutes long and is a real speaker freaker. Super punchy on the subs! With each progression we get more and more delightful sounds. Some new and some very familiar. Everything about this takes me back. It definitely hits you in the gut. The hi-hat is crisp. Any DJ worth their salt could have a real good time with the heater.
As if that was not enough, we got more goodness. This set is a mix of more upbeat and energetic techno and some sweet electro beats. Dance music enthusiasts cannot go wrong listening to any mix from Noncompliant. All bangers mixed with an absolute ridiculous precision. She also included the new track in this latest set.
