Once again, Guerrilla Noise is bringing more heat for the underground masses! This time it’s a new track from Def Marivich!
Known for producing some extremely chill trip-hop tunes, Marivich has stepped it up a bit and released a house tune on Guerrilla Noise. The sound of the track is deep, but use of his vocalizations give it a super hype vibe. Not to mention that earworm of a melody, Def Marivich has produced his first certified heater in my book.
Curtis Jones takes the reigns and does some dope things for his remix. What starts as a more stripped sounding version, quickly heats up fast with a funky bass-line into the mix, filling in the tune nicely. Love the UK Garage vibe! Jones continues to layer onto the track after some nice snappy builds and drops.
Intent to Deliver’s take bangs hard right out the gate with a heavier sound on the bass drum. This track has the biggest sounding tech-house vibe on the EP. ITD keeps the track fresh with a nice synthy bassline, good use of back spins after builds, and framing a more 90’s sounding tune, apart from today typical tech-house banger.
