Something pretty gnarly hit my radar last week. In February, an entire LP of Noisia remixes popped up on all platforms and it did not disappoint. A quick Google search of Noisia will bring up all kinds of info on their farwell tour last year, and an announcement of them doing a round of festivals this summer to wrap things up, but I’ve yet to see a publication talking about this release.
The LP of clocks in at an approximate 42 minutes of scorching music. Matrix Remix of “Sinkhole” is exceptionally fine, while the Audio remix of “Sunhammer” bangs hard enough to break some necks on the dance floor. The LP doesn’t let up with its final track “Choosing For You” which is remixed by Holly, featuring some chaotic beats and some blazing MCing by I Am Legion.
