Komrade Jay has brought “Black Plagues” for us to bang out this weekend. This is a really nasty and dark mix.
Jay has been spinning drum and bass music for 14 years now. I’ve been listening to his mixes since 2019, and Jay has come a long way I feel. This mix in my opinion, is the most methodical, moody, and just sets a gloomy tone.
One of my favorite tracks off the mix, the very cynical “Anything for Attention” by Calyx & TeeBee fit into the theme’s of this mix very well, and had me pretty sucked in from this point on.
Among the rest of the mix, Komrade Jay smoothly bangs out tunes from Critical Impact, Helloworld, Waeys, and more!
