CHAOTICSTYLE GETS HARDCORE IN GR EXCLUSIVE! SEE HIM AT DOKI DOKI ANIME RAVE THIS SATURDAY.

Mixes don’t come as often as they used to. I had to do something about that. Last week I opened up my DMs looking for new and different talent and it was fruitful. This is just the first of several new mixes to be expecting in the next month or so. This latest mix is from the founder of The Metamind Artistry Collective, Jordan Deffenbaugh a.k.a. ChaoticStyle. The set is definitely a Graveyard Radio first.

With the huge chunk of HHC in this set, if you are not into 90’s, cheesy, super-ravey nerd vibes, with video game & anime references galore, this will not be your bag. I was super excited to hear the Cowboy Beebop theme opening theme as a remix thrown in around the 12 minute mark. I was also able to catch the Full Metal Alchemist clip shortly after. I don’t know a lot of anime, so I couldn’t catch much else as far as the multiple obvious other theme sings I heard. I did however catch a pretty sick version of Roni Size’s “Brown Paper Bag” and was hit with a feeling of nostalgia hearing a raved out version of The Pixies’ “Where’s My Mind” towards the close of the mix. The transitions were all on point. This was a fantastic set to promote Jordan’s next show this Saturday night.

That’s right! Those in the Pittsburgh area will get there chance to catch ChoaticStyle and a bunch of others this Saturday. A very eclectic range of music.

The Anime themed party will be taking place at Squrrel Hill Sports Bar. Be sure to swing by the event page to peep all the info. There is quite a bit.

The event will also be a donation drive to benefit woman, children, and families who have become displaced. Always love to see people in the scene coming to together to help those in need.

Also announced recently, Jordan will be playing a Lo-Fi/Ambient set at Summer Solstice under his Spectral Inari moniker. Keep up at the official event page to keep updated with info on that!

Hope you guys have a great rest of your week.
